Pet Me Forever Headshot Photo Project Highlights Joys of Adopting a Senior Pet

FRIDAY, November 6, 2020 – November is ADOPT A SENIOR PET month. The age range for a senior is usually 7+ years old. Adopting a senior pet provides a forever home for a more mature cat or dog, and it bypasses for the owner the kitten and puppy stage. A senior cat or dog has lots love love and life to give.

The cats in this poster were photographed by headshot photographer, Brenda Boyd, of Menifee. Brenda has a shelter pet headshot photography project called PET ME FOREVER.

This project highlights the need for foster and adoption, and especially for this month, the adoption of senior cats. According to Brenda, senior cats are aged to perfection. The quote on the poster says: “Too old to climb up your curtains, but young enough to climb on your lap.”
